As part of its community-based environment conservation program in the Great Rift Valley, the Sustainable Environment and Development Action (SEDA) has today signed an MoU with the Oromia Tourism Commission (OTC). The MoU, signed by Deputy Commissioner Nega Wedajo on behalf of the OTC, aims to help SEDA and OTC collaborate on job creation, skills development, and community-based initiatives for local tourism development. The MoU signing ceremony took place inside a community lodge built by SEDA at the Abijata-Shalla National Park which will be run by 221 community members when it is inaugurated in a month’s time.
