In a groundbreaking new venture the Batu City Administration, OTC, and BGI have conducted a workshop on a proposed city branding project for Batu.
The workshop covered the basics of city branding, the tourism and investment potentials of Batu as well as challenges and opportunities inherent to the branding venture.
Attended by stakeholders such as local elders and youth, city council members, representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, tour guides and operators, as well as the mayor of Batu, the workshop marks a major step forward in efforts to revitalise the city’s economic outlook.
